Early Warning Signs

• Doubt – Just as in the Garden of Eden, doubting God’s word for my life was what led to my falling away from God.
• Unbelief – It is the unbelief in his Word that allows us to fall easily into sin.
• A Feeling of Abandonment – Abandonment comes as a result of losing the ability to feel God’s presence.
• Desire for Power – The temptation for gaining knowledge and power created an irresistible urge that kept me going back.
• Being Intrigued by the Supernatural – People are drawn to the supernatural because it takes them beyond the limitations of the natural world.
• Awe for the Creation – Nature is the evidence that God exists and the enemy would have us believe we are to worship creation rather than the Creator.

• Reincarnation – Requires one’s soul to continually migrate from physical body to body until they progress in becoming god-like thus falling into the same lustful desire as Lucifer in attempting to be like God
. • Meditation – Worldly meditation empties the mind of all cares and concerns, allowing the thoughts from other spiritual entities to enter our minds.
• Divination – The desire to gain forbidden knowledge has its roots in the garden when the serpent first tempted Eve to be like-God and know good and evil.
• Mockery – Scripture declares that “God is not mocked.” Therefore we are deceived when thinking we can turn our noses at God, laugh and make fun of him and believe our sin will go unpunished.
• Idolatry – Idol worship robs the individual of receiving God’s blessings by redirecting their devotion meant for God to other deities.

• Spirit of Fear (Fear of death, worry, anxiety over injury) – The fear of death paralyzes, torments and locks individuals in bondage. God has not given us a spirit of fear; we give the spirit of fear access when we don’t view death through the eyes of Jesus.
• Spirit of Distraction (Spirit of confusion) – The spirit of distraction attacks at the most in opportune times causing loss of concentration from our godly purpose, direction or interest. It is another one of Satan’s tactics to prevent us from pursuing God’s purposes.
• Spirit of Heaviness (Spirit of rejection, hopelessness, broken heart- ed) – The spirit of rejection attaches itself to our God-given need of being loved and distorts our view turning incidences in our lives into feelings of rejection. We must stand strong in the assurance of God’s acceptance and unconditional love. • Spirit of Bitterness (Spirit of un-forgiveness, anger, presumption) – The deadly root of bitterness is likened to a spiritual poison that is debilitating to one’s spiritual, mental, and physical well-being. It gives the enemy a foothold into our lives through un-forgiveness and anger. When we forgive others, God’s forgiveness overflows to us.
• Spirit of Whoredoms (Spirits of sexual immorality, adultery, fornication, idolatry) – The spirit of sexual immorality attacks us spiritually, physically and emotionally, and is one of the leading causes of a wounded spirit. The Bible warns us to keep away from the sins of lust, adultery and fornication, which give the spirit of sexual immorality a gateway to our soul.
• Spirit of Divination (Spirits of sorcery, witchcraft, magic, rebellion) – Rebellion is an open invitation for demonic influences to gain access into our lives. The Bible warns us against rebellion, in fact, it likens it to the sin of witchcraft itself. 1 Samuel 15:23; “For rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft…” The enemy uses our rebellion as a means to blind our spiritual eyesight, thus preventing us to see truth or discern the spiritual influence we have become subject to.

                                                     Your Personal Exodus

• Spiritual Blinders – Before an individual is able to choose restoration with the Father, their eyes must first be opened so they can see truth. In order to receive freedom to choose, ask a spirit-filled group of intercessors to bind up and remove the veil of deception.
• Trust in God Alone – Do not put your trust in men, but rely on God, who will never leave you nor forsake you. Man is deceitful and cannot be trusted completely.
• Jesus is the Only Way – Jesus provides the way for all to come to the Father. No matter how good a person may be, or whatever other path they may follow, unless they live in Jesus, they will not inherit the kingdom of Heaven.
• The Ministry of Angels – The ministry of angels are sent by God to guide, protect, deliver and fight on our behalf.
• Destroy Idols – Clean house of any idols, magical possessions and ritual clothing to declare your rejection of them before the spiritual and earthly realm and to rid yourself of any temptation.

Set The Captive Free

• Put On Spiritual Armor – Ephesians 6:10-17; “Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. Stand therefore, having girded your waist with truth, having put on the breastplate of righteousness, and having shod your feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace; above all, taking the shield of faith with which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.”
• Prayer/Fasting/Praise – Speak the word of God through prayer to breakdown strongholds of wrong thinking and deception. 2 Corinthians 10:4; “For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds.” Fasting gives you supernatural power to cast out demons. Mark 9:29; “So He said to them, “This kind can come out by nothing but prayer and fasting.”” Praise is a mighty weapon of warfare. Psalm 149:6; “Let the high praises of God be in their mouth, and a two-edged sword in their hand.”
• The Blood of Jesus – Confess the salvation and deliverance the blood of Jesus has brought us. Revelation 12:11; “And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, and they did not love their lives to the death.”
• Discern Spirits – The supernatural ability given by the Holy Spirit to identify the source of a spiritual manifestation. 1 Corinthians 12; “But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to each one for the profit of all: for to one is given the word of wisdom through the Spirit, to another the word of knowledge through the same Spirit, to another faith by the same Spirit, to another gifts of healing by the same Spirit, to another the working of miracles, to another prophecy, to another discerning of spirits, to another different kinds of tongues, to another the interpretation of tongues.”
• Bind and Cast Out – Binding is tying up the unclean spirit and hindering its influence. Casting out is the actual driving out of demons from the individual in the name of Jesus. Matthew 16:19; “And I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven, and whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven.”
• Fill the Void – Release the blessings of God to fill the void that once housed negative spirits. Luke 11:24-26; “When an unclean spirit goes out of a man, he goes through dry places, seeking rest; and finding none, he says, ‘I will return to my house from which I came.’ And when he comes, he finds it swept and put in order. Then he goes and takes with him seven other spirits more wicked than himself, and they enter and dwell there; and the last state of that man is worse than the first.”
• Walk It Out – Now that your house is swept clean of any spiritual influences, it’s important to be filled with more of Jesus. Devote yourself in prayer, praise and studying the word of God.
